Who’ll Stop the Rain?

At least 57 million ignorant and/or uneducated or wealthy Americans...those who "voted" for Bush in 2004, don’t worry at all about the outcome of the Novermber primary elections. They are pretty confindent that Republican Congressmen will hold their respective offices, and therefore, the majority.

How can they be so sure? Simple. They know that, most likely, the various tricks and shenanigans which were in play in the ’04 Presidential election will be replayed this time around, and once again with nobody to stop them!

Oh, there’s been a lot of talk about Diebold and other electronic voting machine companies and the easy access to hackers and weaknesses with internal codes. Many states have in fact voted them out. But many more states seem to find them 100% satisfactory, given that Bush won last time out.
There is not a shadow of a doubt that THIS time around the machines WILL be tweaked and rigged and hacked by GOP activists exactly like last time. It’s a given.

There are and were international observers,too. That sounds promising but remember that last time out those stalwart and incorruptable souls were present in droves, watching and taking copious notes, but never even spotting the outrageous Ohio vote fiasco orchestrated by Sec.of State Kenneth Blackwell, delivering the "goods" as per his promise to Bush.

There doesn’t seem to be any legal way to stop the failure to supply sufficient machines (many were "broken" in Ohio), or delays in "preparation of ballots,etc",causing lines often so long that anxious voters just gave up. Added to that was the hard rain...nature’s contribution to GOP corruption! What a break!..they had God sitting in their laps.

Of course cruder methods (employed by Democrats in the Kennedy election of 1960) include just stealing the ballots and burning them on some remote country haystack. That may still occur as a last resort to insure the Reps hold their power in November.

And don’t forget the dead! It’s amzing how many of them rise to the occasion year after year.

Who’ll stop the rain?...probably no one. Now...or ever again. Why? because the powers that be who are the movers and shakers nationally and internationally; those intrepid and enterprising power and money hungry "invisibles" (read: Oil, Pharma, Coal,etc.), who have had all the breaks under Bush, including huge subsidies and massive tax breaks,...will stop at nothing to hold what they’ve achieved over the last 5 years.
