Humanitary Wars and conflicts International

All health care professionals should be made aware of the humanitarian disaster occurring right now in the country of Lebanon.

As always civilians are paying the most serious consequences of decisions taken by politicians. This is cruel and injust.

The situation in Lebanon is dramatic:

the entire civilian infrastructure is destroyed, numerous innocent civilians are killed. The ordinary people of Lebanon are completely besieged from the air and the sea. No one can leave or enter the country. Villages are cut off from each other, and from other main cities. All of the entrances to the capital, Beirut, are blocked. The roads, bridges and overpasses of the south have been bombed to the point where the entire area is debilitated. Villages in the south of the country have been destroyed. The international airport, runways, and gas tanks for the civilian planes have also been blown up. The electrical plant in the south was bombed early on.

Sitting in the middle of all of this carnage is NISCTV ( in arab Beit Atfal Assumoud). This wonderful charitable no confessional organization was established on August 12, 1967. It is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the thousands of children living in the refugee camps.

We have been privileged to have known them providing with hands-on clinical training, as well as donating dental supplies and equipment.
Many other NGO from various countries collaborate with NISCTV: Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, USA, Turkey, France, Malaysia, Norway, and Spain supporting a number of remarkable ongoing projects: Child sponsorship program, Children’s educational and recreational activities, Literacy and Training programs for youth and women, a Vocational training program, Mental health program, the eight kindergartens, in addition to the five dental clinics.

They are peaceful and innocent people, they don’t deserve all this, children must be terribly frightened, they need to go to school and receive care not bombs on their heads.

Give these people the chance to go on, give these children a healthy future, give us the possibility to cooperate for peace.

Stop bombing now!!!

The innocent people of Lebanon deserve a break.

Stop the bombing, killing, and carnage.

  • Killing civilians and destructing basic structure have been a policy of the Israeli’s government

The escalation of violence in the middle east has been the result of the policy of the Israeli governments. These government have imprisoned more than ten thousands of Palestinians including some democratically elected members of the Palestinians parliament. While that government refuses to free any of them, it denies the action of some Palestinian groups who have kidnapped an Israeli soldier for the purpose of exchange of prisoners.
In an alleged attempt to free its soldier, the Israeli government has raged a brutal raid on Gaza strip killing civilians and destroying many houses on the heads of women and children, and enforcing inhuman embargo on the whole city. .
That action has obviously motivated Huzb-allah to react by capturing two Israeli soldiers. Again the Israeli government reacted in a much more violent way. Instead of targeting Huzb-allah, it has directed its brutal acts against civilians of Lebanon, bridges, petrol stations, Beirut airport, electric power stations, motorways,… etc . Clearly it is targeting all the people of Lebanon, those with Huzb-allah and those against it. The Israeli action is obviously an act of war against the government and people of Lebanon. The prime minister Olmert is trying to repeat what Sharon has committed in Lebanon, forgetting or trying to forget the shameful end of that invasion. It is ironic, while Israeli governments always allegedly cries for peace, it is committing the most brutal crimes against the Palestinians and Lebanese people.
