Suspicions About "Foiled UK Bomb Plot"

Have I missed something? From the current news reports about the "foiled" bomb plot" in the UK, I haven’t seen any smoking guns.

Does any of this evidence exist? Did the authorities find any explosive devices actually assembled by the accused "terrorists"? Did any of the accused buy airline tickets? If this evidence exists, respondents to this post are invited to link me to news articles about it.

So far, the "evidence" reported, to my knowledge, is this:

1. the accused owned some cell phones;
2. the accused received some money wired from Pakistan;
3. the accused had some bank accounts;
4. someone in their group made a phone call to the USA;
5. the accused owned some shampoo and other common household items;
6. there were more than 20 men in the alleged "terror cell."

Since when did anything in items 1-5 become a crime?

My understanding is that guerilla cell organizations are underground and that there are usually no more than 5 members in a cell. This means that if anyone is caught, under torture he wouldn’t be able to name any more than four other members. The cell leader is the only one in contact with anyone else in the
organization, and receives instructions from one member in the next higher
level of command. Number 6 makes the story highly suspect. If the London Pakistanis truly had terrorist intentions, they were amateurs.

Additionally, it was reported that one member of the group was released from jail. He was probably the snitch.

Most likely, this was just another police sting operation. Here’s what probably
happened. An informer (and entrapment artist) was sent into a Pakistani neighborhood to organize a group of young Islamics and to mobilize sentiments against the U.S. and U.K. He used militant rhetoric to whip them up into a frenzy expressing violent fantasies. Then he informed his handlers that a "bomb plot" was under way.

Entrapment of this nature has been a common police tactic against dissenters for
quite some time. It was common in the USA as a strategy of disrupting the antiwar movement of the 1960s. A good example is the Camden 28 case. See this:

In the Norman Transcript, the disreputable CIA spook David Edger surfaced, like an alligator poking his head out of the swamp, and presented his "expert opinion" about the London affair:
