Tying up Loose Ends

After my last blog, I was asked why I oppose George W. Bush in such vehement tones. So I compiled a list of complaints about the Issues that Bush has failed to meet adequately.
 
The Valerie Plame affair is still open
Several hundred prisoners are still in Guantanamo.
Iraqi civilians are still being killed wholesale
Iraqi oil is still coveted
Iranian oil is still coveted
Oil anyplace in the world is coveted
Attempts to destabilize nations that have oil
Lust for power is still unabated
Secretary Rice still threatens nations and mentions mushroom clouds
The Vice President calls critics “traitors.”
The neocons have not learned any lessons
Enron/corporate corruption complacency
Semi-fascist measures are still in place
Faith-based money grab still operates
Imposing fear on the nation for political advantage
Cynical references to 9/11, flag, country, God, for political advantage.
Distorting meaning of Democracy, Freedom, Liberty and Peace.
Judicial litmus test
Justice to highest bidder
Justice chained to political pressure
Partisan Attorney Generals
Supreme Court subject to religious ideology
Unitary Executive privileges
Signing Statements
Preemption instead of diplomacy
Sovereignty or Puppet regimes
Shock and Awe tactics
Missile tactics on peasant villages
Bunker buster bombs on civilians
Exhaustion of armed forces
National Guard equipment in Iraq not for Kansas Hurricanes
Failure to redress or address complaints of adversaries
Lying and deception to achieve goals
Lack of new ideas/carbon copy speeches

And that is why I think there are loose ends, which should be tied up before I am satisfied that our country is in good hands. Anyone is at liberty to add their own favorite gaps in our records.
