Attack-Terrorism UK

Seeing as the Glasgow Fire Brigade was so clumsy (deliberately? god forbid!) in putting out the recent Glasgow Airport blaze with water hoses (petrol and water don’t mix and using water hoses only spreads a fire) here’s a useful video from Mendocino County on how to put out a fire from a propane tank.

The latest BBC propaganda is about what a brave lot of lads they were to prevent explosions and the rest of the airport burning down. Yup, with three water hoses.

No mention that propane gas bottles are built to be idiot-proof. If they do explode they explode downwards where the weld-points are weakest.

Now why didn’t these dastardly terrorists time their event for November the Fifth with a stuffed effigy of George Brown as Guy Fawkes?

  • The firemen where responding to an emergency they where just doing there job which is to prevent loss of life and property in that order, are you saying this was all a staged show? the firefighters have now adopted a secret hidden political agenda?
The methods of controlling gasoline and propane are greatly varied if both these fuels where involved I dont believe there is a standard procedure, your video just shows a propane tank period no other flammables where involved, the idea with propane is to drown it with water it keeps the tank metal cool so it will not stress and explode it also dissipates the propane being exhaled into the atmoshere preventing any type of bleve. If gasoline was burning foams do work great but it is quite obvious there concern was to keep the propane from exploding as the gasoline was already ignited, furthermore why risk injury or loss of life by getting too close nobody at that time had a clue of what other type of explosives could have been rigged. They hop off a truck and respond to fire , they do not have the benefit of studying the news broadcasts repeativly or sending samples to a lab to anilyze, it is so easy to be critical when your not the one standing in the heat. If you feel a need to lash out and point a finger by all means proceed, but the firemen are not a piece of the puzzle. The emergency workers worldwide are counted on deal with the disasters politics creates they dont pick sides. I feel you owe this group an apology, and suggest you also look into the complete facts before spitting venom. Without this we are now aware of how credible any of your future postings are.

    • 68.***.226.*** Oh dear, here we go again with those misspellings. Try reading some Janet and John books, they should help. You don’t try to avoid explosions by pissing on a fire with three hosepipes which look like they’re suffering from prostate problems. Either you use hih-pressure blasts to get to the bottles and turn off their taps (as in the video) or you blast them in foam to dowse the flames. Pissing on them with three hoses as they did only serves to SPREAD the flames as gasoline won’t mix with water. And the gas bottles certainly weren’t being drowned with water either.

As for the firemen, either they were under instruction to play silly buggers or they were replaced by fake firemen. Who knows?

    • Your getting better didnt take you long to master the send button. Your not grasping this fire thing there are two types of fuels involved gasoline and propane pick your poison. Gasoline was already ignited, it is logical to now prevent the propane from exploding foam will do nothing in the case of propane a fine water mist is the correct procedure. Next time why dont you run ahead of the truck and scope out the situation for them and report back what substances they are dealing with. What is hih-pressure ? now your as bad as me, the correct version is high pressure. Perhaps your local technical school offers night classes in basic firefighting you should look into this your never to old to start learning. Good luck with your studies, wishing you well.
