"Bush’s Approval Rating In The Toilet. So how did he get re-elected.???"

New poll data was released yesterday that puts The Illegal Deserting, Idiots,
Approval rating even lower then than it already was. If that’s even possible, in a land where the Corporate Media, would kill their own mothers to stop a negative story about the criminal that each and every one of them are responsible for putting in office. Every member of the Media, be it TV Newspapers, or radio, (Air America excepted) have the blood of over 100,000 people on their hands, and that stuff is hard to wash off, as Vincent Vega told Jules Winfield in the bathroom at Jimmy’s house in Pulp Fiction.
When “news” organizations like Associated Press, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. release poll numbers concerning the murdering mumbling death monkey, you can be sure that they are either skewing the results as much in favor of Bush as possible, or they are outright lying and changing the data in a very unsubtle way.

According to the new poll only 35% think the nation is heading in the right direction, Now going by the math I learned in school, that would mean that 65% of the people think the nation is headed straight into the pit of hell, but no, that would be incorrect according to the AP, because 43% think that Bush “is doing a good job.” Well lets see 35 plus 43: 5 plus 3 equals 8, 3 plus 4 equals 7, that means that only 78% of the people in the poll had an opinion either way and a full 22% could not come up with an answer to the question "Hows he doin." Usually in polls like this the non respondent factor is usually not more then 5 percent. Okay so lets say that 10% of people did not answer the question, much more likely, then the 22% the AP poll would have you believe. Since we have already concluded that any lying going on here will be absolutely in Bush’s favor, then we can assume that it is more like only 23% of the people actually approve the job that Bush is doing. Astounding that Bush, who got 50.1 % of the vote just 7 months ago has a now real adjusted approval rating of 23%, he has lost 27% of his support in a little over half a year.

There are now more and more stories being reported in the blogoshere that Bush and his people stole the election by stealing Ohio, which of course we have been reporting since about 2 days after the election. Rep. John Conyers has gotten together 89 members of congress. (you can be sure that co-conspirator, and treasonous felon John Kerry will do everything possible to sabotage any attempt that congress makes to get to the bottom of what happened. Of course we already know.) These 89 members of congress are drafting a letter, which Conyers has promised to deliver directly to the President, demanding an investigation. (we all remember how successful that 9/11 investigation went.) Conyers wants to go mainstream with this story, good luck John you are going to need it, however the facts remain, and are coming out.

Speaking of the mainstream media, they are now finally starting to acknowledge the Downing Street memo, because they have to, the story has now gotten so big that ignoring it any longer would make The NY Times, Washington Post etc. look like nothing more than propaganda arms of the Government (which of course, they are) to even the most ignorant of the ignant. (or as I like to call them, “The Proud to be Ignant”)
I wonder how many red staters who voted for Bush are now beginning to feel the sting of every single policy that comes out of Washington, and are beginning to have it dawn on them that we were right, and Fox news is a bunch of lying hyprocrites.

According to the H.L. adjusted Presidential approval poll that number would be 27% of Bush voters, who now realize that having a president who is “just like them” (i.e. Ignorant idiots) is not such a great idea. (oh, to see the look on their faces when they first say to themselves: “America was a paradise under Clinton compared to what it is now, and maybe getting a BJ under the oval office desk wasn’t so bad, I mean after all that Hilary is such a bitch so who can blame the guy.”) Ok so what is it about Bush that is making all these, people who were so sure that we were a bunch of Liberal crackpots, who hated our country (even though we did research on the subjects while they watched Access Hollywood, and American Idol) now come around to our way of thinking.
Well the number 1 thing that they say makes them view Bush in a negative light??? Wait for it......
War (what is it good for? Absolutely nothing, say it again) According to the poll 41% of respondents say that Bush is doing a good job in Iraq, I guess that is the 41% of people who hate “Haji’s” but who don’t have any relatives over there. The poll does not say how many people are against Bush’s war so we can not figure out an adjusted rate, of actual true data, but suffice it to say you can be sure the number is more like 31% for the war, and 69% against.

One person asked about how Bush is doing was Carol Harvie of San Diego, Harvie called herself a political independent: (translation: she voted for Bush twice) "I don’t think he’s read his history enough about different countries and foreign affairs," said Harvie. My guess would be that she knows someone who knows someone who died in Iraq. San Diego has many military bases including Miramar, and Camp Pendleton, the largest Marine Base in the nation. (and now all of a sudden its not Ok that Bush knows about as much of History and foreign affars as the average high school student.)
So what do we do now, Bush still had over 3 years left in his reign of terror. Most people don’t want this. Don’t look to congress for any help, that gang of lapdogs gets even lower ratings in the poll then Bush with only 30% approving of the job they are doing.

So basically there are 2 factions in this country right now, the people, vs. the rulers. The people concerned with trying to make a living, and get by with less money, less jobs, and no health care, Against the rulers, trying to get bigger yachts, more houses, and fatter bank accounts. Since Congress refused to do anything about Fixed elections (except for Conyers) the likelihood that this will continue until we are back in the days of indentured servitude is very great.

We must keep pressure on the members of congress, with a very blunt warning. Represent “US” and not yourselves or you will be bounced out. Some members of the house do actually care about what goes on in this country. Forget about The Senate, (except for Barbara Boxer)
Keep getting the message out. We’ve got a lot of work to do. Lets Roll.

Equipment test under fire

Manufacturer says its voting system may now be vulnerable

By Bill Cotterell

DEMOCRAT POLITICAL EDITOR

An attorney for the company that makes Leon County’s voting equipment told state and county officials Thursday it was "very foolish and irresponsible" for Elections Supervisor Ion Sancho to let an outside group try poking holes in vote-tabulation security systems.

Michael Lindroos, senior corporate counsel for Diebold Election Systems Inc., said the company "cannot confirm at this time whether you can conduct any future elections reliably." He suggested that the county do a complete system evaluation before any future elections.

But Sancho said the equipment recently put through its paces by Black Box Voting will never be used again in a regular election. He said the nonprofit, nonpartisan organization was closely monitored as it tried to "hack" into the system - and that even if Black Box had left some bugs behind, his office has ordered an upgraded model that will be used in the 2006 elections.

The equipment will be used in next Tuesday’s special election in House District 7. He said there have been very few early votes cast - and only one race on the ballot - so his staff could hand count them if Republican Marti Coley or Democrat Carl Duncan has any doubts about the outcome.

An aide to Secretary of State Glenda Hood said the Division of Elections "will be contacting all appropriate parties to review this matter."

In a blistering letter to Sancho, all seven county commissioners and Paul Craft, the head of voting-system certification in Hood’s elections office, Lindroos said Sancho compromised the security of the system by letting Black Box Voting try to crack it. He said Sancho may have "intentionally and negligently allowed unauthorized personnel to make modifications to your system that are not discernible to you or your IT staff.

"Aside from potential violations of our licensing agreements and intellectual property rights, we believe this to have been a very foolish and irresponsible act," Lindroos wrote.

Sancho, contacted at a meeting of county elections supervisors in Pasco County, said he would do it again. He said it is important "to maintain public confidence in the integrity of elections" by allowing people with doubts to come in and test the systems under tightly controlled conditions.

Bev Harris, founder of Black Box Voting in Renton, Wash., said she made three visits to Tallahassee and worked with two computer-security experts between February and May. They tried unsuccessfully to penetrate the computer system from outside the courthouse but Sancho then allowed access to a secure room - where only one of his employees has the codes to operate the computers.

Harris said Black Box Voting demonstrated that a corrupt employee could easily get around security walls, tamper with vote totals and exit the system without leaving any tracks, the Tallahassee Democrat reported Saturday. By changing a memory card, the report said, her team was able to make 65,000 votes disappear in the test.

Sancho said "the level of rhetoric" shows that Diebold and the state are defensive about security and that groups like Black Box Voting are ready to believe the worst. Florida voting methods have been a touchy topic since the 2000 presidential election, which was decided for President Bush by 537 votes after 36 days of court fights, street demonstrations and on-again, off-again recounts in some counties.

"I don’t believe in conspiracy theories," Sancho said. "I believe there is sometimes simply human error and negligence, but not conspiracy. What we really need is more honesty and less heat in these situations."

Lindroos said it was not realistic for someone to be given access to a system that is always under tight security.

"Your improper actions, Mr. Sancho, are equivalent to leaving your car unlocked, with the windows down and the keys left in the ignition, and then acting surprised when your car is stolen or the interior vandalized," wrote Lindroos. "Other examples would be acting surprised if anomalies were discovered after you left paper ballots exposed in an unsecured area and invited individuals of questionable character to visit the room, or asked some unknown person to deliver paper ballots to a central counting location without a trusted escort."

Harris, contacted in Washington state, said she has confidence in Sancho’s security systems and employees. But she said similar Diebold systems are used in about 800 cities and counties across the country, with three to five employees having access in each jurisdiction, and that the system "should send up a red flare" if a dishonest employee tries to change vote totals.

Harris said Black Box evaded security systems and changed votes without setting off any alarms in its tests.

"It took us less than a minute to replace the Diebold system with something we wrote and to hijack the whole system," she said. "I would venture to say it doesn’t happen in Leon County, but that’s like saying nobody ever embezzles. When you have 800 jurisdictions and three to five employees with access in each, that’s like saying you’ve got 3,000 to 4,000 employees and none of them will ever try something."

Jenny Nash, a spokeswoman for the secretary of state’s office, said the elections office will monitor the controversy.

"The security of Florida’s voting systems is a top priority for the Department of State," she said.

"It is disappointing to hear that Supervisor Sancho did give access to unauthorized personnel," she added. "With any system in the world, no matter how secure it is, if the person in charge gives outside access, well then that’s a real problem."

  • Americans are familiar in working places with the try and error method. They tried Bush and it turned out to be an error. So rigged votes, who knows. They will never fix the major flaws in their voting system: registration.

  • To prior comment we didn’t want to try W. He didn’t win the popular vote in 2000 and probably not Florida.
The reason for the low approval ratings both before and after the election of 2004 are simple, they are true. W. didn’t miraculously jump up to a 51% approval on election day and jump back down the day and months after.
    The Exit Polls were right.
    W. STOLE ANOTHER ELECTION!!

    • Personally, I do not know beyond a reasonable doubt exactly what happened with the tabulation of votes cast on computer voting machines. It’s certainly more than telling that those machines were all built and programmed by a company whose owner openly endorsed Bush’s campaign.

Let’s say that the machine counts were entirely accurate and all the Kerry-won exit polls were inaccurate. I believe beyond a reasonable doubt that Bush won the 2004 election because of the organized intimidations, misdirections, and voting machine shortages/breakdowns that discouraged or prevented the casting votes in traditionally Democratic districts in key states.

  • Do any of you moonbats know that elections are run by counties? To rig an election a majority of the county judges, poll watchers, AND the machines would have to be in on the fix - in each county.

That’s why the Democrats can only steal votes in Chicago. They don’t have access to the Republican counties in the rest of Illinois.

BTW, do you know we can read your minds? Better fix those tinfoill hats.

  • Oh goodness more conspiracy theories. It’s hard to believe America has so many sore losers! Three independent commissions (largely staffed by Democrats) looked into the 2000 Fla. election and at least two courts (again Democrat) heard cases. I don’t need to tell you the results, but of course THEY were all bought off and part of the conspiracy.

I see the owner of Diebold doesn’t have any right to support his choice of candidate. Gee, you really believe in TRUE democracy. Diebold machines comprised a small segment of the equipment in use and there has been absoletely no proof or even a serious question of hacking or rigging of this equipment.

Anyone who has worked an election or served at the polls, county elections tabulation or state elections knows these conspiracy theories claiming "rigged" elections are stupid. They sound good to the losers and help them justify their loss and continue to believe they were really right but the evil winner cheated.

  • Your math is wrong. You added the percentage of people who think the country is going in the right direction, with the percentage of people who think Bush is doing a good job.

This is the same group of people; you don’t add them and expect to come to 100%.

I stopped reading at that point, even though I think the election was stolen. It’d be a better story if you got the details right.
