Los Angeles, Alta California - September 7, 2005 - (ACN) There were numerous incidents that occurred during and immediately after Katrina struck that point to the "unthinkable". It now appears that a sophisticated plan was implemented that utilized the "cover of a hurricane" to first destroy and than take over the City of New Orleans?

As the world watched the events unfolding, one could not help think that something was terribly afoot concerning the rescue by FEMA of the city’s poor and predominate Black population. It seems that a well laid out plan was put into effect to grab valuable real estate from well established but poverty stricken Black families of New Orleans? What is being implemented now is nothing less than a sophisticated scheme to purge and ethnically cleanse what Whites have termed "Black and ’welfare bloated’ New Orleans".

Among the most telling anomalies pointing to something terribly
afoot is the gun battle, killing 5, that occurred at the breached levee
between the New Orleans Police Department and, what have now been
identified as US military agents. An Associated Press report, which has
now disappeared, stated that at least five USA Defense Department
personnel where shot dead by New Orleans police officers in the
proximity of the breached levee.

A spokesman for the Army Corps of Engineers said later that those
killed were "federal contractors" on their way to "repair" a canal. The
"contractors" were on their way to launch barges into Lake
Pontchartrain, in an operation to "fix" the 17th Street Canal,
according to the Army Corps of Engineers spokesman. Deputy Police Chief
W.J. Riley of New Orleans later reported that his policemen had shot at
eight suspicious people near the breached levee, killing five or six.

Who were these "military agents" that were killed by the police near
the 17th Street Canal breached levee and what were they doing there?
Why did the New Orleans police find it necessary to shoot and kill 5 or
6 of them? No one is saying anything and it appears that the news story
has now been swept under the rug. Were these US Department of Defense
personnel a Special Forces group or Navy Seals with top secret orders
to sabotaged the levee? There are verifiable reports that at least 100
New Orleans police officers have disappeared from the face of the earth
and that two have committed suicide. Could these be policemen that died
defending the levee against sabotage by "federal contractors"?

Another telling incident that points to a "nefarious plan" is
what New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin said at the height of the crisis. He
said publicly, "I fear the CIA may take me out!" Mayor Nagin, a Black,
said this twice. He told a reporter for the Associated Press: "If the
CIA slips me something and next week you don’t see me, you’ll all know
what happened." Later he told interviewers for CNN on a live broadcast
that he feared the "CIA might take me out." What does Mayor Ray Nagin
know and why does he fear the CIA?

In an interview by WWL TV, Mayor Nagin complained vociferously that
Louisiana National Guard Blackhawk helicopters were being stopped from
dropping sandbags to plug the levee soon after it breached. There is
evidence that no repairs were allowed on the levee until after New
Orleans was totally flooded!

Many civilian groups who were attempting to aid people trapped in their
attics, on their roofs and at the Superdome are reporting that FEMA,
other federal agents and the US military essentially "stopped" them
from doing so. Convoys that were organized by truckers and carrying
"food and water" were blocked by agents of the federal government on
the highways and roads leading to New Orleans. The American Red Cross,
in addition, encountered numerous incidents and has made formal
complaints.

A private ham radio network that deployed throughout the
hurricane ravished region reported that the airwaves were being
"jammed" making it impossible to communicate emergency information.
Churches, hospitals and other essential community groups reported that
the first thing that the US military did, when they arrived, was to cut
their telephone lines and confiscate communications devices. We all
witnessed news reports and heard statements by flood victims concerning
the behavior of the US military. Many Black families complained that
military vehicles did not stop to assist them but just drove by. One
news report showed military personnel playing cards inside a barrack
while Black citizens were dying of thirst and hunger.

Today, it is very revealing how the federal government is handling the
disaster. They want every Black out of New Orleans and those who insist
on staying in their homes will be removed by force. The government,
through some media, is utilizing scare tactics to cleanse New Orleans
of all Blacks. They want no witnesses and this will make the "land
grab" a lot easier to undertake. One scare tactic is calling the flood
water "a horrid toxic soup of feces a rotting flesh of corpses". The
military thugs are now getting tough with Black families that have
owned their old but beloved homes for many generations. Mr. Rufus
Johnson, a family patriarch who lives in the French Quarter, said in an
interview, "The army has given me an ultimatum to leave or suffer the
consequences of a forced eviction. I do not understand . My entire
family and I survived Katrina and now they want to throw me out of the
home we have had for generations". Mr. Johnson lives in a neighborhood
where the flood has subsided and his home is not heavily damaged yet
FEMA wants him out!

The fact that Vice President Dick Cheney is heavily involved in the FEMA
operations from behind the scenes is very troublesome. Cheney and his
cronies at Halliburton are in line for the lucrative contracts to
"reconstruct a New Orleans". Deals are already being made with a Las
Vegas business group to construct multi-million dollar casinos in the
Big Easy on prime real estate that was owned by Black families. Whites
throughout history have been notorious "land grabbers". In the USA they
first confiscated land that belonged to American Indians. Most of the
Indians ended up in worthless tracts of land called "reservations". The
largest "land grab", however, was the theft of Aztlan. This occurred
soon after the Mexican-American War. In Alta California , vast
"Ranchos" were stolen from the Californios through a variety of scams.
A favorite ploy was to impose extremely heavy land taxes on the
Mexicans and then foreclosing on the properties. The land was then
given or sold at very low prices to the Forty Niners who came in large
hordes to Alta California during the so called "Gold Rush" of 1849.

COVERUP: The dynamiting of the New Orleans levee system

Los Angeles, Alta California - September 11, 2005 - (ACN) New evidence is surfacing concerning the sabotaging of the New Orleans levee system that resulted in the flooding of primarily Black neighborhoods. A significant number of New Orleans residents have come forward to say that the levees were breached on purpose by the authorities.

Also, this publication has located the original Associated Press article that reported on a gun battle between the New Orleans Police Department and US military contractors near the vicinity of the breached levee along the 17th Street Canal. The original report states that New Orleans police shot and killed 5 armed US military contractors in a gun battle. The original AP report was confirmed by a US Army Corps of Engineers spokesman. The AP story has now been deleted on pretty much all news websites and a different version substituted. Our publication was forwarded a link to the original report by one of our subscribers after reading our article, "The Great New Orleans Land Grab" This article argues that the gun battle was an attempt by the New Orleans police to stop further sabotaging of the levee system by US military saboteurs under high level secret orders. Our article, "The Great New Orleans Land Grab" proposes that the sabotaging of the levee system had already been planned. They were just waiting for the right hurricane to implement it. Katrina provided just the right cover. The ultimate purpose is to rid New Orleans of poor Black folks and take their valuable land away. We are already seeing the plan take fruition. Banks and mortgage companies are now foreclosing on homes and properties because poor Black in diaspora are unable to make mortgage payments. Also, Black families in New Orleans who owned their homes outright could not afford damage insurance and do not have the money to rebuild. Most likely, their properties would be taken away for failure to pay property taxes. Developers, and contractors stand to make a lot of money in the new New Orleans. Vultures are already hovering over the devastated city. Dick Cheney was recently in town to survey the possibilities for Halliburton and deals are being made with a Las Vegas group to build multi-million casinos in the Big Easy.

Many of the Black families in diaspora already suspect the worse. Resident Andrea Garland, now re-located to Texas, said, " I also heard that part of the reason our house flooded is that they dynamited part of the levee system after the first section broke - they did this to prevent Uptown (the rich White part of town) from being flooded. Apparently they used too much dynamite, thus flooding part of the Bywater. So now I know who is responsible for flooding my house - not Katrina, but our government." There are also claims by intelligence expert Tom Heneghen that 25 earwitnesses heard explosions immediately before the levees broke. The Washington Post, in addition, interviewed John Mullen III, an African American retired schoolteacher now staying at the Houston Superdome. John Mullen III lived in the Lower Ninth Ward, an all Black neighborhood. John Mullen told the Washington Post that he believes that the levee breaks had somehow been engineered to keep the wealthy French Quarter and Garden District dry at the expense of poor Black neighborhoods like the Lower Ninth Ward — a suspicion the Washington Post has heard from many other Black survivors.

What if Katrina never came along, the bad guys had every thing in place for 40 years waiting for a super storm.     • Yes, in some respect there may be easier ways, but none of them assumes legal possession as clearly and quickly through the laws of "abandonment"; i.e., allowing for a taker to capture title to the soil regardless of the adverse claims by previous owner. Tally in the Kelo decision and other federal and state "taking" statutes and you have an almost impervious solution for the rebuilding of NO.

      This morning on a TV talk show, the host spoke about how poor survivors in New Orleans were herded onto a bridge and told to head out of the city by the sheriff. On the other end of the bridge, police had mounted an offensive against these people and actually opened fire on them as they tried to leave the city! This is not Beirut or Iran, but indeed the USA! It is time to expose the corruption that runs rampant by the politicians and ’elected’ officials from the president on down.     • Good point. I can’t believe that all the rich people in America got that way because they stole from the poor. As Ayn Rand used to say "It’s impossible to get rich by stealing from the poor. They don’t have anything of value, that’s why they’re called "the poor!" A country full of slaves won’t make anyone rich, just look at North Korea for a handy example. At the most, it might make a very few comfy, but the energy expended, keeping three hundred million of us enslaved, would not make it worthwhile. It would make much more sense to enrich and empower a capitilist ecomony, in order to ensure a never-ending stream of consumers. Remember that the American dollar has been backed by the governments’ ability to tax Americans ever sinse we went off the gold standard seventy years ago.     • look, i can’t confirm or deny much of anything. But i can say that in West Texas we recieved some of the evacuees. Several of them report seeing men in military uniform near the levee’s as the storm approached. One person stated that they went up to them and was stopped at gunpoint and redirected with a brief explanation of "nothing to see here, you need to leave the city."

      Later explosions were heard by these individuals. they stated that they came from the areas around some of the levees. After these explosions, the city began to flood because the levees were gone.

      Is everything being said true? No, history shows that there are elements of all races that seek to finger point and cry foul. the poor black people in new orlean are no different. but, does that mean that everything they say is untrue? once again, no. too many people with a similar story.

      did something happen? yes, i think that the government tends to do things that they deem appropriate for one reason or another, even if it hurts individuals. We as Americans, needless to say, find it offensive to sacrifice the few for the many.

      However, those of you who think that American Gov’t doesn’t commit atrocities forgets about all the black military men that were infected with STD’s for experimentation.

    • dear carl, thank you for your informative insights.. i have a thing or two to say that you may or may not beleive, but i know them to be true. recently on "discovery times" was a show which showed me an actual "earthquake machine’ the soviets built. it wasn’t initially designed to BE an earthquake machine, but after they ran some kind of test, there was a very powerful earthquake which seismologists determined started 6700 meters below ground thats a very deep quake i think. (almost 4.5 miles down) anyway, the camera that was filming the experiment the soviets were conducting was still rolling about 30 seconds later, and the whole building shook like it was a toy boat in a hurricane! the show then went on to say that after the fall of the soviet union, they sold the machine to the american govement, and nobody knows where it is today! kind of makes you wonder just what they wanted it for, huh?, also, concerning darpa, and the haarp experiments, i used to work in a place called "climatronics" in bohemia, long island, as an electro-mechanical assembler. they made "weather monitoring systems" for various (mostly u.s ) gov’t agencies. the f.a.a., the army, navy, marines, air force, airports, ect. we shipped these systems all over the world... i only worked there a short time, thankfully, but one thing i will never forget is the "system" being tested out in the back parking lot one day..(several days actually) it looked like a big search light, and it swung back and forth on a single axis. (where this thing came from i’ll never know, i was the only qualified machinist there and i didn’t help build it!) anyway, the top was about 6 foot in diameter, flat, made out of some kind of ceramic...metal...something, and it was dark grey. it was hooked up to immense power cables, diesel cable i think they call it, and all types of computer equipment. many men in suits were hanging around tweaking, testing, reading results.., and they all looked very important, and "intelligent" if you get my drift. anyway, on a break that first day, being curious about what they were up to, i started to ask questions about what this thing was. i was told it was a new doppler radar machine. seems plausible to me, who am i to second guess these guys, they’re the engineers! (many of which i’d never seen before) but i can only say that as this "radar" swept back and forth over the sky, clouds started to form overhead, and for the next three days, it drizzled constantly! i was also sternly instructed NOT to get in it’s way, as it would cook me like a hot dog in a microwave! since that time, i have heard about darpa, and haarp projects, from my old landlord in virginia beach, and told myself the woman was waaayyy out there. only much later did i learn that she was telling the truth about these things, and that’s when i started to become scared. after looking back to that day in "climatronics" and that mysterious "system" they were building,( which left before the week was out, never to be seen again...) it finally started to dawn on me that this gov’t is up to something we should not be messing with!! i’ve always considered myself a bit of a weather buff, and understand a few things about the worlds climate systems, and the basic fundemental changes i’ve seen over the past decade are not possible without some kind of outside interference...period. global warming is a good cover story , but i think that by doing all the nuclear tests in the ’50’s and ’60’s, our country and others..and friggin’ around with ionosphere heaters, that they’ve finally pushed past this planets boiling point, and the results are the devastating storms we see today. not to mention all the other devastating things like floods, tsunamis, earthquakes, glacial fractioning.. i can only hope that the aftereffects of all these "studies" doesn’t totally kill this planet, which is what i really think has happened,(and that mother earth can heal itself if left well enough alone) and that these storms will teach people that "IT’S NOT NICE TO FOOL WITH MOTHER NATURE"!"

    • You need to do some homework pal. My mothers home was completely destroyed by flooding in upstate NY. FEMA made its appearence, as there were many homes in ruin. Cash was NOT what they were giving out! Loans were! " Low interest " they said but.....not a fixed rate. Most of these homeowners, our neighbors, could not possibly think of yet another morgage. Try to imagine Your home in complete ruin and no way to pay such a loan in order to keep it? FEMA actually did offer some $. My mother was given $500. Hardly what I would call "Passing out cash". While this tragedy was taking place, I inquired as to the reason FEMA is so hugely funded and obviously offers only additional home loans. Well my answer was given! The funding for FEMA is for administrative purposes. There you have it. My heart goes out to these good, poor people as I know first hand what they are feeling. Betrayed and mislead. Please do your homework before you tote such a rash judgement. For all its huge funding, FEMA is an ultimate, tax sucking, failure.

Our government is not able to committ conspiracy becasue it would take teamwork and and effective system of communication that would prevent leaks. It is our own government policies on freedom of information that allows for information to be released. Most would think that the information is redacted to hide facts, however, it is only to take out personal information on people and businesses. There will never be any proof, or any witnesses to support these alledged conspiracy theories because they don’t exist. If people live in poverty it is becasue that is the way of life they choose not because the government is responsible. The only responsibility the government has is that it created a system (welfare) that enables people to rely on free money...no efforts have been placed on getting people back into the workforce. I think if everyone took responsibility for thier own actions this country would be a better place to live. Unfortunately, relaxed immagration laws and wefare are turning our countyr into a third world. That is the problem with New Orleans in the aftermath of Katrina...people were out for themselves...not to help each other.       The facts are that someone has committed a crime. The whole country will see this all unfold and what will the people do?.... Nothing.
      If the truth about 9/11 is that the twin towers were really brought down by planned explosives... The flood in New Orleans being a "Land Grab".     • you may find this interesting, a few days ago i heard a report that scientists have developed a way to force natural gas out of rock, through some type of new process. the gulf coast has one hell of a huge natural gas deposit that has primarily been depleted. the ability to now force gas out of the rocks which "trapped" all that natural gas in the first place, means billions and billions of dollars in petro dollars to be scooped up, just as soon as they get all the people out of the way. interesting huh? especially the timing

  • One need only remember in New YorK City and the South Bronx. Remember Fort Apache? Well there were no show landlords that leased broken down tenements in the South Bronx. they did not pay their taxes or keep up the homes. The City commissioned either Brookings or Rand to do a study as to the least expensive way to remedy the situation. The report came back that the City should shut down fire houses in the area. This way the house would be destroyed, and the tennants removed by the fire. No need for a lengthy court cases. All the city would then have to do is bull doze the burnt out structure.

    • Almost 24 hours after Katrina, it was evident by the use of force, the with holding of relief that something was amiss. Then the levies broke (i.e. blown). Bush and cronies wanted the LA Gov & NO Mayor to sign over all control to the Feds. Haliburton given Billions in rebuilding contracts. What if anything in facts doesn’t add up to the story and witnesses reports. It was completely apparent the levies were blown and whom stood to profit.

  • This is very interesting. Many of the pictures that I saw on Yahoo that showed the broken levees made mw think that they did not look like storm dammage. The levees bay the Garden district would be just as vulnerable to breaking but they did not. I also noticed that the satalite immagery that I was able to find on the net did not show certain areas of uptown. I had a family member there in the unsown area at the time, who’s phone miraculously did work, when verry few other phones did work. I will also remark that it is verry suspicious that manny 504 area code cell phones do not work, when all they should need is a good tower and a signal. The only thing is I don’t know if you can say this is only about Black people - perhaps it is about poor people, but not just blacks. Unfortunately the majority of poor people in New Orleans are blacks. They are also under educated, and New Orleans’ public school system was underfunded and really sucked. I know this because I used to live there. I moved because I didn’t want to live in a city that was below sea level. I rather think we would be better off if Katrina had hit harder and turned New Orleans into a lake. At least then it would be able to support wild life and the government couldn’t f* with it so much.

  • I’ve never seen such a bunch of crap before. First, get your facts straight - the areas that were flooded were inhabited by both blacks and whites. If you look at the demographics of all the areas flooded in the New Orleans metro area - including Chalmette in St. Bernard Parish, there are probably more whites displaced and without homes than blacks. Additionally, there were many areas of the city that were not flooded, and guess what? Poor blacks live in those areas as well.

    As far as contractors being shot, that is not true. What did happen is that a car load of black looters tried to hold up a van of contractors to the Army Corps of Engineers who were heading to the Industrial Canal to work on the levee breach. The LOOTERS not the CONTRACTORS were shot by police. The incident did take place on the Danzinger Bridge, and if you bothered to look at a map of New Orleans, goes over the Industrial Canal, not the 17th Street Canal. If you checked the facts, there were several levees that failed, including the 17th Street Canal, the London Canal and the Industrial Canal. The Danzinger Bridge is nowhere near the 17th Street Canal, and the 9th Ward is on the other side of town from the 17th Street Canal.

    And of course people heard explosions. What kind of sound do you think occurs when a levee breaks, a "snap".

    Blowing up levees to save New Orleans DID occur during the 1927 flood. Now every time there is a flood or a levee break people come up with these theories that it was done on purpose. But guess what? In 1927 poor whites were flooded our of their land in St. Bernard and Plaquemines Parishes.

If the whites were trying to "purge" the city of blacks don’t you think they would have protected the area by the 17th Street Canal. It is primarily upper class whites that live in that area. It is not the whites fault so to say that some blacks are poor, it is their own fault for not getting up and making something for themselves.   • I lived a few blocks from the 17th street canal levee breach on Avenue A inbetween 36th & 38th streets. This area is called "Lakeview" & is one of the only completely WHITE areas of New Orleans. So, I think your theory of eliminating the blacks from the New Orleans population through this levee breach is completely incorrect! If that was the case this levee would have been spared & only the London Ave & Industrial canal levees would have been brached. I’ve got a simple idea....why don’t you do some research before you spread more rumors!

  • I wanted to write about 10 minutes ago but I had to stop laughing first. I’ve lived about a mile from the 17th Street Canal for most of my 39 years. Your theory is totally preposterous. It is factually wrong, poorly written, based on rumor and inuendo, and is simply a conspiracy-laden bunch of clap-trap.

    Of the bodies that have been identified as of Dec. 10th at the temporary morgue at St. Gabriel, which has since been moved to Carville, 46% are black, 42% are white, and 12% are of other races. If you can add better than you can write a column, more non-black people have been identified among the hundreds of bodies that have gone through the morgue.

    The breaches at the 17th Street Canal, no matter what side the breach would have occurred on, first affected New Orleans’ only predominantly white neighborhood. Water eventually made it’s way into Old Metairie, flooding an all-white area with the second highest per capita income in the state.

    I could go on but this isn’t worth wasting any more time over since anyone with first-hand knowledge of the situation realizes this was written for urban legend purposes.

    P.S. You may want to start with this sentence and work your way through with your English teacher to correct the errors: It now appears that a sophisticated plan was implemented that utilized the "cover of a hurricane" to first destroy and than take over the City of New Orleans?

      The 17th street canal breach is right where the most prominent white families with money reside in New Orleans. The families by the 17th street canal make up 56% of the New Orleans tax base.

      I saw a news report concerning the two breaches where a resident of the lower ninth ward said that the Industrial canal breach was done on purpose, and that the 17th canal breach was fixed, but not the Industrial canal breach because "we’re poor"

      Well the semantics of the situation are very diverse. This is because the 17th street canal is a drainage canal. It is not very wide and it runs into town and to Jefferson highway. It drains rain water from streets.

      The industrial canal however, connects the Lake to the Missippi river and the Intercoastal waterway which connects to the Gulf of Mexico. The intercoastal waterway allows for barges and ships to traverse the lake , River and Intercoastal water way. The ships can only travel in certain areas of the lake because the lake in general is only about 15 feet deep in certain areas, except where lanes were dredged for shipping. The Industrial canal was dredged deep for shipping.

      The 17th street canal was dredged to be a drainage canal, not to hold ships.

      The 17th street Canal breach was temporarily eaisly fixed by using sheetpile to close off the end of the 17th street canal, which then facalitated the ability to repair the canal.

      However, there is no way to close off the industrial canal with sheet pile because of it’s depth. Plus you would have to close it off at the Lake, and at the Mississippi River and Intercoastal Waterway ends of the canal. Otherwise water comes from either direction.

      There is no point to flooding the richest part of the city and the poorest part of the city in essence wipeing out the upper and lower class, unless it was a conspiracy to allow the Middle class to become the only class in the city.

      The upper rich white families who make up the most of the cities tax base took it just as bad in devestation as the poor people. There were people in that area that did not get out and drownd. Partly because they didn’t believe they would ever flood. I attended two churches church in that area know as Lakeview. One church Lakeview Christian Center, I attended in the 80’s to mid 90’s and the other from about 95 to 2001. Both of these churches buildings took on 15 feet of water or more. Therefore any one story houses in the area were devastated.

      I have a friend who grew up in Lakeview. She curently lives in Jefferson Parish. Her Mother and brother still lived in the house that she grew up in located in Lakeview. Because their house was destroyed, the Mother and brother now live with my friend in a one bedroom condo. It’s basically a one bedroom apartment. I’ve been in my friends condo. It’s very tight and hard to move around in, because my friend collects things. So many things that it smothers theis bacically one bedroom apartment. Not much of a condo.

      My Friends Mom and Son each have a suitecase with about three pairs of cloths in them. The mother sleeps in the same bed with her daughter (my friend) and the brother sleeps on the couch. No one is happy that this has happened.

      I guess the Middle class justs wants to grab all of the land, or there really was no avoiding this situation that God allowed to happen.

      Did the government move fast enough? Probably not, were there mistakes made? probably yes. Did anyone think that this wa going to happen after Katrina had already passed by the city? No. The first sign was that New Orleans missed the damage of the storm.

      People give up the bitter fight of enuendo’s rumors and strife, and lets just focus on rebuilding New Orleans from scratch as it was done from the beginning. Obviously New Orleans was not built the way it was overnight, It can’t be rebuilt overnight either. It will take time and alot of sweat equity by people who want it to be rebuilt.

      Some people are complaining that the Mexicans are comming in to rebuild and taking Jobs from the locals. Some of these people complaining were of the lower class. Well it seems that after a Jessie Jackson left the city to with two busses to bring back 200 black new orleans residents to do work, He returned with 200 blacks, but only 50 of the 200 were from New Orleans. He found that the Blacks didn’t want to come back. They don’t want to come back and get work. If they come back and work, they would have a greater impact on the city and how it will continue to thrive, and they wouldn’t be poor from returning to do work.

  • This is horrible and very distrubing. If the levees were breached on purpose...God help us all. The people NEED to know the truth, one thing is for sure...that which is done in the dark will come out into the light.
