The Phoenix as has been noted in a previous comment, as the pre- 1933 logo for the U.S. instead of the eagle.(up to 1933) please note that the countries such as, Iraq, when it was shown on tv that in S. Hussein’s palace meeting room, is the figure of the phoenix bird from floor to ceiling as a mural. In Russia and Germany also, this bird is openly made aware. Arafat used to carry an image of this bird in his pocket and often referred to himself as such. the question is: what do all these countries have in common as to unite under the phoenix bird? I also believe Hitler and some of his oss had these on their caps, and or lapels.
