> LETTER FROM RET. MARINE CSM AND RET. MARINE MAJOR
3 September 2004, 05:48
I’ am sorry to hear of your son’s Article 15. But as company level judgment it is the lowest form of punishment in the military. I got one in ’69 for writing for the Viet Nam Moratorium Committee. There is no free lunch. Actions have consequences. Can an Article 15 be appealed in the modern army? If so have him do it. Otherwise take the punishment and join the ranks of countless others who have spoken their minds and accepted the consequences.
Keep in mind that as bad a Bush is perceived to be, a Kerry presidency would be catastrophic.
