> How the American Right became an enemy of peace and freedom (1964)

1 August 2005, 21:37

Excellent summary of the background to the present Bush version of neoconservatism, as enunciated by Karl Rove, Wolfowitz, Condi Rice, Rumsfeld, et al. It does not develop the viciousness of Far Right strategy which proposes a dissolution of present government policies, controls and legislation. Nor does it develop the blood-thirsty aggressivity, go-it-alone, my-way-or-the-highway, preemption, shoot first and ask questions later, policies that developed since Bush became governor of Texas under the tutelage of religious and political strategists who saw the opportunity to take over the entire Republican party and make Congress a sycophant to the Oval Office. It does not address the destruction of the Wall of Separation, which is crucial to Far Right imposition. But it does explain why the Bushites wish to become Lords of the Earth.
