This is a really terrible idea. Constantine declaring Christianity as the official state religion accelerated the collapse of the Roman Empire, according to Edward Gibbon. When the Church acquires the power of the State and the State the blessing of the Church, human weakness will guarantee that much blood and misery will follow. We are already experiencing the beginning of a Constantine-like revolution...led by Bush. Imagine this psycho grabbing "President-for-Life" status, and forcing us all to obey HIS idea of Christianity while keeping us in line with the Patriot Act and wiretaps.
We need to expel this alien religion from our land and seek a different spiritual solution.
