> War Against Iran, April 2006 Biological Threat and Executive Order 13292 by Jorge Hirsch

First, if Iran did have WMD, then the US would be deturred from preventatively attacking.

Second, Iran can easily destroy oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, and other Middle Eastern countries, then blame the US.

Third, North Korea (the third member of the "Axis of Evil") will probably covertly attack the US with biological WMD under the cover of hostilities between Iran and the US.

Finally, I doubt that even psychopath Bush and his neo-conservative inner circle would order a preventative attack on Iran out of the blue. Even though the Democrates could win control of Congress in the November mid-term election (and consequencially launch investigations that could uncover Bush administration crimes), Bush ordering an attack on Iran to rally support for his administration and party would be too transparent.

By the way, I believe that it is easier than is well known to construct a highly contagious extremely lethal virus. I corresponded with a prominent microbiologist who stated that is would "not be hard to make a pandemic flu." Although, I have come to the conclusion that a bioterrorist pandemic is much more likely to from an individual or an NGO than a state or state sponsored group.
