The USS Liberty Veterans Association has filed a formal Report with the Department of Defense
of War Crimes Committed Against U.S. Military Personnel on June 8, 1967, by elements of the Israeli military forces. The United States is obligated by law and by international treaty to investigate all reports of war crimes by or against United States Forces. This report obligates such an investigation. We are still waiting patiently for a reply.
