"I received this in my email from a friend. I’m opposed to the Iraq war so this sounded good. Too good. When I searched on "Charlie C. Carlson II" on the internet it gave me an article in your paper. Question; is this the same person? Is this a hoax? What do you think?

ps. I have no affiliation with anyone. I’m a retired person who was a Marine Sgt in the ’50s and ’60s. I occasionally get letters from conservative friends of mine that contain so many untruths. I’m always telling them, "Don’t be passing this untrue stuff over the internet." Well, time to live by my own advice. I’m just trying to track this down."
