> LETTER FROM RET. MARINE CSM AND RET. MARINE MAJOR

6 September 2004, 00:38

Thank you and please let the American people know of this story. 80 medals and this . My family members were killed in World War 11, my father received a purple heart, my great Uncle Casey was killed somewhere over the Pacific, my Uncle Stan was in the belly of an aircraft shooting at the enemy, my granfather shoveled coal into a train furnace in France in World War 1. By the way my father is German and he covered Gen. Pattons flank in World War 11 in Germany!
This story needs to be told and I trust you will do what you have apparently have done all of your life-the right thing.

God Bless you and your entire Family for Eternity and thank you and your family for protecting our Great Country.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey J. Berg
Chicago, Illinois
P.S. I was too young for Vietnam.
