Exactly how are we safer? Seems to me we just saw a healthy and happy Osama telling us that not only did he do 9/11 but theres gonna be more. When was the last time anyone saw Saddam make such a claim or threat. In what way are we safer?..Oh I forgot I’ll be able to drive my car a little bit longer now that we have Iraqi oil... So I’ll just drive my gas guzzler to McDonalds feeling all warm and fuzzy knowing we have the wrong man in prison. Feeling secure knowing my freedom lovin government has the larger caliber gun with wich to pick on crippled nations that might have some resource WE want. And forget about ’ol Bin Laden....He cant get to me..that sorta thing only happens in weird places like New York.
Grow up people. No war in history has been about moral authority or even right or wrong. Wars are fought for resources. Even Osama knows this. He knows theres no percentage in catching him. Haliburton wont make a dime.
