> Did Bush fix the elections? Why did Kerry throw in the towel so soon?

13 November 2004, 23:49

If America really wants to know the truth, and we all should if we want to live in a free and democratic society, then we should insist that our process be fair and just, regardless of the outcome. If we have any doubt, and by all accounts we should, we need to show the world what that we will not tolerate fraud, especially in a major election. Is this not what America stands for? I became suspicious when I saw Kerry ahead and gaining in battleground states when all of the sudden, Bush started overtaking him. Even the exit polls supported Kerry’s win. This, and all the reported discrepancies cries out for an investigation. The minute we let any party resort to fraud to win, we the people have lost our democracy and all the values we cheerish. We the people must hold our government and our appointed officials accountable, especially if we find they were not elected by the people. We cannot let our government continue down this path under false pretenses. We need to unite as Americans and not divide by political parties as our leaders desire.
