From her block, she said she saw two policemen dressed in blue overalls accompanying a man in white overalls out of the estate.
Earlier, she heard a controlled explosion and what she thought looked like a smoke bomb.
Stuart Ray, 35, was at work on the edge of the Dalgarno Estate when youngsters he helped to train in TV skills burst into his office shouting that the police were closing down the area.
He said: "There was obviously some kind of police raid. A number of police officers got out of a plain white van. They were wearing heavy flak jackets.
"I asked a police officer what was going on and he said, ’we are raiding two addresses relating to incidents’. He would not say any more than that.
"When he said that I heard a loud bang - there was no smoke or fire from it, it was just a really loud bang.
"Rumours had it that it was a device to get into a door.
"People who were around were just calm. Everybody just stayed around. It was a big crowd. I did not feel worried because there was a lot of police and you feel they know what they are doing."
