This article is misleading, uninformed, and downright false in parts. The decision to expand the football stadium wasn’t Boren’s alone; he just put his stamp on it. And guess what? The games SELL OUT EVERY SINGLE TIME. Yes, even when we have a losing record.
I personally thought Boren’s response was fitting considering the safety concerns involving 84000+ already emotionally charged people. Do you *really* want to see mass panic on that level, something of which kind would have resulted from an announcement during the game of ’suspected terrorist activities’? Seriously.
Oh, and a-duh. Turns out it *was* suicide. Penser avant de juger, mon ami... pensez!!
