Fitzgerald is no mans fool. His record is perfectly clean and he’s not one for a show. If he had nothing to use on anyone he would not be currently calling witnesses. Further, Fitzgerald, for all intents and purposes has all the authority of the DOJ to conduct the investigation in whatever manner he chooses to its fruition. He answers to NO ONE in this matter - not even Bush.
Fitzgerald will come back with something or he wouldn’t be working on it right now. The indictment of Rove and Cheney would be the destruction of GW as both his legs would be cut off. He’d be a lame duck with no wings and no legs. NOTHING would make me happier.
