Activists from CODEPINK showed up the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on Saturday May 8, 2010. They checked out some tanks which were parked there as part of a “public service” exhibit. The CODEPINK activists, let by Medea Benjamin, brought a message of “peace,” on this windy Mother’s Day. They also sang a ballad with the same hopeful theme.
