WE TOO WANT ANSWERS

A headline from Reuters today reads:

Bush says wants answers on Iran leader’s past

The story continues:

“President George W. Bush said on Thursday he wanted answers on whether Iranian President-elect Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was a leader in the 1979 U.S. Embassy siege as some former hostages have said.”

"I have no information," Bush told reporters. "But obviously his involvement raises many questions, and knowing how active people are at finding answers to questions, I’m confident they will be found."

“Bush also issued a warning to Ahmadinejad, 48, that he and European leaders would send a "strong message" to him about their concerns over Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

"My message is that it’s very important at this moment for the EU-3 to send a strong message to the new person (in Iran), that the world is united in saying that you should not be given the capabilities of enriching uranium which could then be converted into a nuclear weapon," Bush said.

"In other words, we’ve got a new man who’s assumed power, and he must hear a focused message," he added.”

After reading this impassioned plea from Sir George I would say that the American Public too would like some answers.

Let’s reverse your plea and say that we have little information but much propaganda and spinning. Obviously your involvement raises many questions and knowing how active your people are about covering up, about misdirection, about censoring, about secrecy, we are not at all confident that you will provide us with true answers until you are impeached or run out of office.

Our message is that it is very important at this moment that you should not be given any more nuclear capabilities. You have several thousand atomic and hydrogen bombs with which you can destroy all life in many counties. You certainly do not need more for peaceful purposes. We too have a man who has assumed power, by grace of the Supreme Court and his brother in Florida, and we would love a focused message.

To reiterate: Yes, we would very much like to have some answers. We would not care to be distracted again by your claiming that some other person is EVIL and needs a regime change. We think the same about YOU.
