To Peter King and Italo Zanzi: Now what were you saying of border security?

I need all of you to read in its entirety Cong. Ron Paul’s press release in which he speaks of the NAFTA Superhighway. For those of you who would even vote for a congressional candidate that screams at the top of their lungs for border security such as incumbent Peter King (R 3rd Cong. Dist., NY) and Italo Zanzi who is the Republican challenger to Congressman, Tim Bishop (D 1st Cong. Dist., NY), you need to pay close attention to this passage below:

“The ultimate goal is not simply a superhighway, but an integrated North American Union—complete with a currency, a cross-national bureaucracy, and virtually borderless travel within the Union. Like the European Union, a North American Union would represent another step toward the abolition of national sovereignty altogether.”

I want all of you to zero in on what Cong. Ron Paul stated a “borderless travel within the union” It kind of deflates both King’s and Zanzi’s campaign message of promoting such a border. I have written just recently of that point.

Clearly, if elected, Bush and the ruling elite will not listen to the likes of King and Zanzi as this report by Congressman Ron Paul (R Texas) cites “Once again, decisions that affect millions of Americans are not being made by those Americans themselves, or even by their elected representatives in Congress. Instead, a handful of elites use their government connections to bypass national legislatures and ignore our Constitution— which expressly grants Congress the sole authority to regulate international trade.”

At this time, I will borrow a phrase from the late President Ronald Reagan, “There you go again” when it comes to bypassing congress in this one particular issue.

As you will see while both Republican candidates scream for such a border, they may as well be doing it until they are blue in the face. Bush and the ruling elite will not listen to congress when it comes to this explosive issue.

As you will also see, Bush will once again ignore the Constitution. Folks like Zanzi were absolutely clueless when it came to the ramifications of Military Commissions Act which is an affront to our Constitution.

Last year the United States Supreme Court upheld eminent domain and with that said, pay close attention to this point brought up, “This will require coordinated federal and state eminent domain actions on an unprecedented scale, as literally millions of people and businesses could be displaced.” It is not the illegal immigrants that are working against our best interests, but Bush running rough shod over American rights to keep their homes, businesses and it will affect millions.

For those of you who live in Texas and may be prepared to vote Republican, this is what Cong. Paul had to say “Governor Perry is a supporter of the superhighway project” By supporting such a project he is acting against the interests and safety of the American people. This is an open invite for any terrorist planning on walking across our border in which they can do harm to our country.

I want shock you as you read that “Congress has provided small amounts of money to study the proposal. Since this money was just one item in an enormous transportation appropriations bill, however, most members of Congress were not aware of it.” Paul, even said that the media is paying little attention to this plan. So, if they won’t, I will through my tiny blog here.

Where is Peter King in all of this? Does he even know of this? Does Italo Zanzi even know of this? I highly doubt it. So, this GOP led congress provided little money to study this proposal which will harm many Americans as Paul has stated. Yet, they can sure pay for one hell of an embassy to be built by Asians in Iraq to the tune of over $500 million dollars.

While Congressman Paul stated of this superhighway that it will “become a sleeper issue in the 2008 election.” I am of the opinion that we openly speak of it now. Time is of the essence. Our security and the livelihoods of all Americans are at stake.
