Elections-Elected USA

Following are some very basic facts which show that votes need to be recounted in Florida.

In advance, excuse the long summary; however, this is the key information/analysis that the Kerry team, the FBI, and the Judiciary Committee need to get through their heads to demand a recount in Florida as soon as possible.

1. Out of 67 counties in Florida, 52 used optical scan machines. The following three vendors, Diebold, Sequoi, and Election Systems & Software, Inc. (ES&E) had these results as of Nov. 4th from public records.

2. Diebold had 32 of these 52 counties:
— 18 counties computed several thousand less votes for Kerry than expected, with an average of -37.12% below expected for Kerry.
— 13 counties computed few thousand more votes for Kerry than expected, with an average of 20.08% expected for Kerry.

3. Sequoia had one county (Baker) with -68.1% less expected votes for Kerry. Meaning that, out of 9,955 total votes, 2,180 went for Kerry when there are 69.3% registered Democrats or an expected 6,898 of the votes would have gone to Kerry but ONLY 2,180 went for Kerry.

4. Election Systems & Software (ES&E) had 19 counties:
— 17 counties computed several thousand less votes for Kerry than expected, with an average of -40.18% below expected for Kerry.
— 2 counties computed a few thousand more votes for Kerry than expected, with an average of 13.55%.

In this article at http://www.wishtv.com/Global/story.asp?S=1647611
by an I-Team 8 Investigation from Indianapolis, you can read excerpts from Interview with Election Systems & Software (ES&S) Executive, Ken Carbullido is senior vice president of ES&E above and he says the following among other answers:

( I have copied and pasted parts of the article as a quick list of true issues that the elections now TRULY seem to have been rigged by ES&E: ) ( I added comments preceded by ***)

Answers from Carbullido found in this article:

=====================
about the touch screens:

"It’s not software and built on an operating system that’s out there for hackers to study and crack. You can’t crack it. You can’t buy it. You can’t study it. It’s only of our making and our design." (*** no body can know if that design is rigged)

"There was some wear on those screens. What you need to do is continually look at that. Do the good maintenance. Check that equipment before you put it out. Check it during the day. Calibration is just exactly that. Just, uh, recheck to make certain the coordinates are picked up. " (*** how can electronic ’calibration’ be modified like a car tune up?)

"The requirement and the demand seem to be growing for this type of voter-verifiable technology. We don’t believe it is absolutely necessary. We believe in the security, the reliability and the accuracy of the touch-screen systems that we have, the DREs. Everything is trapped and nothing can be compromised because of that. " (*** sounds like Enron)

about the optical scan machines:

"The most sure way to make sure your vote counts: Use the pencil that’s handed to you or follow the directions."

(***are those pencil markers being erased as the government and Kerry and FBI decide if there should be a recount???)

"I know that our company always operates with the highest of integrity."

(***That’s what Enron said )

"...lobbyist representing both ES&S and the Florida Association of Counties was Sandra Mortham, a former Florida secretary of state and former running mate of Gov. Jeb Bush.

Carbullido: Yeah, we do have lobbyists, and I think Sandra may have been one of our lobbyists"
================================== end of excerpts from the article.

About ES&E from their website: http://www.essvote.com/HTML/home.html

"Yesterday, ES&S partnered with more than 1,700 jurisdictions throughout the United States to support a historic election - where voters participated in record numbers and enhanced voting systems made the election process easier and more accessible across the country."

"Nationwide, ES&S voting equipment supported nearly 60 million or 42 percent of all registered voters. Across the country, jurisdictions conducted voter and poll worker friendly elections that were accurate, secure, reliable, and timely."

"Over 40,000 ES&S Votronic and iVotronic Touch Screen Voting Systems are now installed in 20 states."

Now, if these numbers from Florida and ES&E answers do not trigger a complete recount of the Florida votes and a Judicial investigation by the FBI and the U.S. Comptroller Office, then THIS IS THE END OF TRUE DEMOCRACY in America.

In an article by The Economist, search www.economist.com with the following string:
’The Trouble with Technology’. You will find comments about Diebold that are truly troubling and may explain why 19 counties of the 32 Diebold had in Florida had votes for Bush way more than there were registered Democrats.

This must be investigated so that the corporations of Diebold, ES&E are not the only constituents in America.

  • They put the fix in. Bloggers need to concentrate on the hard facts though. There is some great statistical data over at Democratic underground.org that basically shows a way to build the case for fraud. North Carolina was a state that had over 30 percent of the electorate do early voting. In other word a huge study group and good numbers to work with. The hackers who fixed the election probably didn’t count on the absentee/early voters being looked at. It turns out that exit polls and absentee/early voters matched up perfectly with Bush having a slihgt lead in N.C. which could be expected. But suddenly on election day Bush gains a 9 point advantage in the state as does the Republican senator. These anomilies only happened in the presidential race and the senate race. Other Republican races in the same stayed equal with the early ballot data. IE normal. The answer to wheather the whole election was hacked is best given by a thorough exam of states that had high early voter/absentee turnout. From there a nationwide model can be made. Naders recount will help build this fire should N.H. show discrepencies that cannot be explained. Then other states might turn. We all need to be emailing papers in North Carolina to get them behind this. North Carolina, New Hampshire, and Ohio are the key to busting this thing wide open. Kick it and Happy blogging Dem surfers!!!!

    • Can you make a nationwide model fom the statistics of just one one state? That’s a dubious plan, not all the state are the same.

  • what do we need to do to start a recount in florida? jfcs1969@yahoo.com

    • You are all just fear mongerring. You are what you hate, your tautological claims and poor analytical skills do justice to your sad ability to put words together on paper. Of course Bush got a bunch of democrat votes, those are just people wising up and realizing that Kerry is a REMF. With the amount of Vietnam Veterans in Florida, it is no suprise to me that Bush was able to swing the Democratic vote and pull off a win. Kerry was not the man for the job, that’s it, can’t you all just live with that.

    • Speaking of poor analytical skills enhancing an already sub-standard ability to develop a reasonable argument, much less the actual capacity for expressing yourself via the written language. The population of veterans living in Florida is statistically insignificant. Bush did get a considerable number of Democratic votes; by virtue of the fact that many in the South were once Democrats, but upon changing to the Republican party, they were just too lazy to update their voter registrations. Alas, even adjusting for and removing that data from the calculations still leaves significant evidence for very significant vote fraud in favor of Bush. Comparing Bush, head to head with Kerry, across the board Kerry is the superior choice. He is the better man, he is the better leader; and he is right on the issues. We have to say, though, that you have every right to vote against both your own reasonable self-interests and against those of America. Obviously you have done your part in ensuring the further decline in America’s hopes for the future. When the economy slips into a serious and permanent recession and there is devastating unemployment; while at the same time there will be no social safety net—despite taxes on all but the wealthy actually increasing... then, perhaps, you’ll recognize the error of your ways. Even so, I hold out no hope for you; your mental filters and limited world view are sure to mean you’ll only resort to trying to find someone to blame the hard times on. I wouldn’t even bet you’d have the integrity to accept the responsibility which will obviously lie with the Republican party (after all, they are in ’full’ control over our government). We’ll just see; can "you" "just live with it"?
