Dear Commission Members:

I am Michael Wright of Norman, Oklahoma, and I am writing to invite you to see my website where I have reported results of my own investigation into Al Qaeda and CIA activities in Oklahoma during the year 2001, and related
events.

Oklahoma is an interesting place for numerous reasons. To begin, in the fall of 2001 a University of Oklahoma librarian told me that an airline ticket for a 9/11 hijacker had been purchased from an OU library computer.

This was for the flight which crashed in Pennsylvania.
Further, she said he was not a hijacker and was a white American male. She knew this because she was present when the FBI came to the library to interview her colleague about it.

In response to a Freedom of Information Act request, the FBI confirmed the incident but refused to identify the purchaser or provide other details. This raises important questions which deserve your attention.

Why did they not identify him? He was clearly aiding and
abetting a terrorist act. According to information from the
librarian he knew he was assisting Al Qaeda. Had he been
arrested and brought to court it would have been public
information.

Why was he protected? The most likely answer is that he was
an infiltrator working for the CIA.

Why were they interested in advancing the plot? My
suggestion, which is developed at my website, is that the
inner circles of the CIA were attempting to conduct a sting
operation against those who hijacked Flight 93, and they
failed. Their flawed assumption was that the hijackers
would land the plane and then try to negotiate over
hostages. According to Condoleeza Rice, Tenet himself had
advised Bush in his August 2001 memo that this would be the
intentions of any hijackers seizing aircraft.

Oklahoma is interesting for other reasons. As you know,
Zacarias Moussaoui spent six months in Norman in 2001,
before his trip to Minneapolis, where he was arrested. He
also met with Mohammed Atta in an Oklahoma City motel
during the summer of 2001.

The President of the University of Oklahoma is David Boren,
former U.S. Senator and Chairman of the Intelligence
Committee. Boren still has considerable influence within
the CIA, and is considered to be the mentor of George
Tenet, with whom he was having breakfast in a Washington
hotel on the morning of the 9/11 attack.

Another interesting event is that CIA agent David Edger
arrived in Norman during August 2001. Boren had arranged
for him to be a visiting professor at OU. Earlier Edger, a
specialist in infiltration and covert action, had been the
CIA’s chief of surveillance over the Hamburg Al Qaeda cell,
which had been wiring money to Moussaoui in Norman.
More details, links, and references are at my website.

There you will also find a scan of the FBI letter confirming the ticket purchase at the OU library:

At my website I report the association between David Boren
and Commission member Jim Thompson. Since my information
raises disturbing questions about Boren’s integrity, I
suggest that Mr. Thompson be excluded from deliberations
over these matters if you choose to study them. I would
make the same suggestion for anyone else having a close
association with Boren.

Feel free to contact me if you have questions. Here is the

Michael P. Wright
