Another Great Day for Democracy
22 October 2010 par (Open-Publishing)

There is good journalism and then there is bad journalism and then there is reprehensible journalism. The reprehensible journalist is akin to the kid whose parents worked two jobs so he could attend the Julliard school of music. Only to graduate and take a job with Muszak rewriting Black Sabbath songs to be used as elevator music with a Paul Anka impersonator singing, “I am Iron Man.”
It is reprehensible not just because it is bad, but because the opportunity is there (…) -
Video: Brian Becker: “End The Wars!”
22 October 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
On the National Mall, on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, in Washington, D.C., at the Lincoln Memorial, a massive “One Nation” rally was held. One of the issues that resounded with many of the activists present was this one: End the U.S. wars and occupations and bring the troops home. Brian Becker, National Coordinator for the ANSWER Coalition, made that case with me in an interview. He argued that the money wasted on “militarism,” should instead be put to use at home, “for jobs, housing and (…)

Testicle Importation
20 October 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
By David Glenn Cox
Those of you who know me well, know I’m a buy American first kind of guy. I don’t drive foreign cars or eat fancy foreign cheeses but you just can’t grow a good Brazil nut in Omaha. There are sometimes when importation is the only answer to a national shortage.
Don’t ask me why, maybe its the fluoride in the water or all those atom bomb tests back in the 1950’s but this country is facing a serious testicle shortage. It would certainly seem to explain the volume of porn (…) -
38 HIROSHIMAs HIDDEN: How’d The Army Do That?
16 October 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
2 comments(San Francisco) - Dr. Christopher Busby, a world famous UK based physicist, was at the UN last week with the results of his health survey of the city of Fallujah, Iraq. The results were truly astonishing, even to the jaded eyes of UN representatives, old retired war fighters and politically connected bureaucrats. No armed force had accomplished this level of death and disease in a civilian population before.
What Weapons Can Do That?
There it was in black and white, on paper, from an (…) -

9 October 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsSunday 10 October 2010 - 10.10.10 - is being marked around the World as One Day on Earth to consider global cultural and climate realities.
