WASHINGTON - Since the 1960’s, the exit poll, that staple of election-night television, has been used along with other tools to declare winners when the polls close in each state, and its accuracy is noted later when the actual vote count proves it right. A landmark exception, of course, came in 2000, when the networks initially gave the decisive Florida vote to Al Gore.
But now exit polls are being used in some places to monitor the official vote count (...)

Bush Vs. Bin Laden: The propaganda war
7 November 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsBush Vs. Bin Laden: The propaganda war
by: An American citizen soon to be arrested for thought crimes.
Like Bin Laden, Bush has been highly effective in winning the hearts and minds of the people. OBL has used the same strategy and techniques that were taught to him by the CIA. Why is it working for Osama and not Bush?
Bush has not been able to control the media as well as Osama, even though most of the corporate US media has been complicit in helping to hide the realities of the war (...) -
Growing Collection of Vote Fraud links: ATTN Global Media
7 November 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
23 commentsThe list of evidence is growing that the US election was anything but a fair vote. Who could possibly think that all of these voting problems are just a minor aberation? The long lines are always in Democratic counties, that the computer ’glitches’ always favor Bush, and the new e-machines were made by a Bush ’Pioneer’ (top donor) that pledged to deliver for Bush. Funny how Diebold makes bank machines which print paper receipts millions of times daily, but they couldn’t get the printer (...)

If Republicans Want An End To Questioning The Legitemacy of Their Elected Candidates...
6 November 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
16 commentsI’m reserving judgement until all the results are in and all evidence reviewed, but in the mean time, I think we Democrats should start a voting machine manufacturing company, and start pursuing election and appointment of devoted Democrats in elections offices in every state, and organize crews to challenge Republican voters in every precinct in every state.
If the Republicans want votes that can be hacked, let’s go in open warfare mode and make sure we can disenfranchise as many (...) -
Quoting Molly Ivins:
6 November 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
7 commentsThe Bush administration is going to be wired around the neck of the American people for four more years, long enough for the stench to sicken everybody. It should cure the country of electing Republicans.
So, fellow progressives, stop thinking about suicide or moving abroad. Want to feel better? Eat a sour grape, then do something immediately, now, today. Figure out what you can do to help rescue the country — join something, send a little money to some group, call somewhere and offer (...) -
URGENT ACTION TO FORCE RECOUNT IN 34 STATES, GAO INVESTIGATES

51 commentsIF YOU THINK THE ELECTION WAS STOLEN.... AGAIN....
Black Box Voting’s Bev Harris, the leading authority on e-voting, has just lauched the largest Freedom of Information Act request ever for the audit trails on the electronic voting machines one third of the country used in Tuesday’s election. In order to also force a recount in 34 STATES, Black Box is asking all those who want a full recount, who believe the exit polls were NOT wrong, to do the following ASAP:

From February 2003: A Lesson Democrats Got A solid "F" On...
5 November 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
First, an open letter to the Democratic constituency:
How on Earth can we get the Democratic leadership to listen? Is it even possible? Surely after the defeat handed this party with the forces they managed to muster, they must realize there is something horribly wrong with their thinking?
I am hearing everywhere that John Kerry abandoned his promise to make every vote count and capitulated far too easily, and that is being used to highlight the perception that Democrats are morally (...) -

But, please, let us look to the numerous names of the soldiers died in Iraq just in the part of the American side -it is to say of the other one as so much more- as you will not find this list in several places online, that’s true! (below) ...

USA: the Republican island in the Democrat ocean
5 November 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
12 comments" Chers tous,
