Hindsight is 20/20, you can look back throughout history and choose any three events and the future becomes explained. The American Revolution 1776, the French Revolution 1789, the terror 1793 – Napoleon 1799.
The American Revolution financed in part by France, helped to deplete the French treasury in what Churchill called, “the first world war.” The depleted treasury exacerbated the domestic miseries of the French people, while the idea of republicanism fired their (…)

WARD CHURCHILL: THE LIE LIVES ON
26 November 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentMake no mistake about it: America’s so-called legal “system” is hopelessly and intransigently corrupt.
In fact, if this “system” were beholden to its own laws, it would undoubtedly be guilty of fraud, extortion, obstruction of justice and conspiracy.
Of course, this reality should be self-evident, considering that men like Clarence Thomas, Antonin Scalia, Samuel Alito, John Roberts and Anthony Kennedy preside at its summit—the United States Supreme Court.
These five so-called (…) -
Voter Empowerment - Not a New Party
24 November 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
If nothing else, the election of 2010 has taught us that a “third” political party is not the answer. Like the two existing major parties, it too would simply become another political commodity to be purchased by the corporations and wealthy elite for their own purposes, rather than serving the interests of ordinary voters. Political salvation will come when the voters of every party decide to exercise, rather than dissipate, their power.
Political parties have been around ever since the (…) -

4.6 million dead Iraqi & Afghan infants but Oz ABC wouldn’t ask Hillary Clinton "Is the price worth it?"
20 November 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently visited Australia in November 2010 but was not asked the key question about 4.6 million post-invasion under-5 infant deaths in Occupied Iraq and Occupied Afghanistan (UN data), specifically “Is the price worth it?”
Clinton’s friend and predecessor as Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, had been asked the same question on CBS “60 Minutes” in 1996 (when dead Iraqi children totaled “only" 0.5 million) and notoriously replied “We think the (…) -
Peace Held Hostage to Rotating US, Israeli Elections
10 November 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
By Nicola Nasser*
The statement by former U.S. President George W. Bush in his 497 – page memoir of “Decision Points” that a secret peace deal was worked out between the then-prime minister of Israel, Ehud Olmert, and Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, which “we devised a process to turn .. into a public agreement” had not Olmert been ousted by a scandal to be replaced in the following elections by Binyamin Netanyahu, who reneged on his predecessor’s commitments, is a piece of history (…) -
Republican victories in US mid-term elections will cripple US & World action on man-made climate change
8 November 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsTop climate scientists argue that the world must reach zero carbon dioxide (CO2) pollution by 2050 and that world leading annual per capita GHG pollution countries like the US and Australia must reduce to zero by 2020. The Republican victories in the mid-term Congressional elections (they now have a majority in the House of Representatives) are widely seen as a huge setback for the Cancun Climate Change Summit (Mexico, 2010) and for any effective US cutback on its enormous greenhouse gas (…)

The Youth Vote and the Election of 2012
6 November 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
In one of the most striking political comebacks in U.S. history, the Republican Party marched in lockstep to victory in the midterm elections and seized control of the House of Representatives and state houses across the nation. Republicans made a battle plan, they disciplined their troops, and the corporations paid for the ammunition.
Unless the Democrats do something drastically differently during the next two years, the rich and powerful will cement their victory around the body of (…) -
letter of november to Obama.
2 November 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
Mister President Obama November 2nd, 2010 The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue N.W. Washington DC 20500
Mister President,
In a previous letter, I wrote to you: “The United State’s hypocrisy is flagrant; it condemns the Cuban government’s actions while sweeping their own crimes under the rug”. This is not an unfounded accusation, I have been striving to show this in every letter that I’ve been sending you every month.
While the five Cuban patriots, Gerardo Hernández, Antonio (…) -
