oh come on, you taking the fun out of this panic. I am going to dress up in my very best 1933 Suit and go down to the bank tommorow morning, and with a straight face ask the Bank Manager,,, is it true?
Now, with all that said, I do still worry because I have over 1000 ounces in that vault. He does not ever know that or at least I think he does not.
I still think it is better at the bank than at home. They can sieze the box, but I believe that even in 1933 they had to compensate you for the loss. My Grandfather got compenstated at the $35 rate for his Gold. So, one way or another, if they really want the Gold and Silver, then you will have to sell it to them anyways.
