Wow! What a diatribe, onfortunately all true. If America ever recovers and becomes what the Founding Fathers worked for, people will not be able to understand the crass stupidity of the average American "citizen." Bush will be looked upon as the worst dictator the world has seen, bar none (Hitler, Stalin, Mao Dsedong, etc. will be looked upon as being mere prototypes).

The comment about "social Darwinism" struck me as ironic. Considering that so many republicans seem to support "Intelligent Design" and fight against Darwin and evolution, it seems strange that they have anything to do with Darwin’s theories in any shape or form.

I read somewhere recently, that America now spends as much on its military (excluding what the war in Iraq is costing) as the rest of the world combined. 5% of the world population spending 50% of military costs? That is paranoia and insanity combined.

"Bush, ever the Jesus lover..." Interesting, but didn’t Jesus himself say that no man can serve both Mamon (money) and God at the same time? As for "... conduit of the Almighty ...", if someone told me that God told him what to do, especially if it was damaging to anyone else, I would start looking for some way to contact the men in white coats to put them into a padded cell.

The problem with the increasing difference between the haves and the have-nots can only lead to a revolution (see pre-soviet Russia, for example). Adding to that the fact that Bush is trying to emasculate the Americans, and the words of John F. Kennedy become frighteningly valid: "Those who prevent peaceful revolution ensure that violent revolution becomes inevitable."

"... true patriots are prevented from speaking truth." As one comedian put it: "In order to be considered a dangerous radical in America these days, just quote the Founding Fathers!"

No doubt, in the future, the name "Bush" will spoken with as much vehemence as are "Hitler," "Stalin" and "Pol Pot" today. People will talk about a wanabe dictator as a "petty Bush."

One comedian said: "All Bush needs to become a great president is honor, integrity and wisdom." Unfortunately, it is true that a country gets the government it deserves; this says a great deal about Americans.
