> Land of the Puppet People (How Americans are conditioned for war)

There is a great book out now called "Addicted to War"...it is a brief history of this country’s war industry and how it has managed to create a continuous war throughout its 200 plus history. It shows how we have nothing else going for us except the industry of killing other human beings and trying to dominate the planet by spending huge amounts of our resources on manufacturing ever more disgusting weapons and creating reasons/lies we should use them. It spells out how the corrupt politicians are bought off with bribes and power to lie to the people in order to fleece them and make them complacent while the military industrial complex marches around the planet stirring up hatred and anger to provoke war at every opportunity to increase their bottom lines and those of the politicians who help them do it.

This book is all factual history of our country and the fact that we have had very few years where we have not been at war with some other country and sadly it is all for the enormous amount of money to be made in this immoral killing business that is the number one industry of our country.

This book should be mandatory reading for every citizen, its simple and factual account which ties all of these wars to various corrupt industries and the politicians who are bought and sold by it. It would be a huge wake up call for most readers.
