Speaking of Zacarias Moussaoui, since he pleaded guilty, why the trial. I mean, couldn’t the courts just have the penilty/sentencing phase and be done with?

And the latest that the Feds were playing the nine eleven tapes of the planes (I think they were the TV broadcast ones, the story on the BBC site did not elaborate) to the jury... Wow, what is this all about?

And again why the trial when he has confessed?

Moussaou seems to have some kind of death wish; the jurors probably have some kind of bloodlust for killing him. Seems a perfect fit in the harmony of the universe.

All of this is so morbidly American.
