> WORST EVER SECURITY FLAW FOUND IN DIEBOLD TS VOTING MACHINE

2 August 2006, 01:41

One cannot imagine that the managing personnel at the Diebold Company are NOT aware that the hardware (and/or software ?) of their machine is designed in such a way as to allow vote fraud. In fact, given the arrogant comments by the CEO of the Ohio company during the 2004 election, it is now a matter of considerable suspicion that their machine is indeed DESIGNED PURPOSELY TO COMMIT VOTE FRAUD, a federal crime. Rigging a voting machine for the purpose of thwarting an honest voting system is an act of treason. The Diebold company should be held to account not only through law suits brought against Diebold and the other touch screen companies by "watchdog" organizations, but also by the federal government. If we cannot trust our government to act - - as this may now indeed be the case - - we must take the matter into our own hands. All American voters should hope that all vote fraud and this form of vote fraud, in particular, be iradicated. I do not advocate that American voters impair or destroy these machine themselves. However, if the matter is not resolved to everyone’s satisfaction in every polling place in the USA, do not the voters of America have a patriotic duty to act in their own interests and protect their voting franchise - - the most precious tight we possess in our democracy ?
