THE TRUE JUDAS

4 April 2008, 13:27

The Messiah was foretold in the Old Testament. If The Christ was the new covenant, then someone had to identify Him for the Romans. I absolutely believe that Judas performed that task for The Christ/Jesus. And it stands to reason that he was special for having done so...someone had to do it, yes?

So, why did Jesus have to be identified for the Romans? The Christ appeared everywhere. Why didn’t the Romans readily know who He was, what he looked like? Why was it necessary for Judas to identify Him? That is an important question and reveals something that wasn’t included in The Bible because it was too incredible for ’us’ to be told. The Nostics/Gnostics were the people who kept the mysteries of The Christ. The Christians were the people who wrote The Bible.

As for me, I have always honored Judas—it must have been terrible to be the one who would identify The Christ/Jesus of Nazareth for the Romans—what a tremendous amount of love he had—to agree to be the one who would identify Him. And how painful it must have been. What absolute and brave love.

Just one last thing—all of the other desciples were known by their first name. Judas’ last name is used. But the most important is, why did The Christ have to be identified for the Romans...A man told me the answer to that. I sincerely hope he contacts me so I can go to the Holy Land with him. Wouldn’t it be the most wonderful gift of all to stand where He stood? To walk where He walked? To be where Mary was? I long to be there. And maybe I’ll end up going by myself. And let God be my guide—better than going on a guided trip.

Thank you for posting about this. I adore The Christ and always welcome the opportunity to enter into a dialog with people who are open to His mysteries. Actually, I long to talk with you. I am an enormous ’fan’ of Stanley Kubrick. He tried to teach us with his ’2001’ and ’Eyes Wide Shut.’ I guess I’m just rambling on now. My best to you all. With love, Anne
