Its not confusing at all...Rood was there when Kerry earned the Silver Star...Rood earned the Bronze star for the same battle...he pointed out that he couldn’t comment on Kerry’s Bronze Star because he wasn’t there...the "Not so Swift Boat Vets" were not there either time...truthout ran the whole story as well...you might want to read it again...
