Ray- i love ya man, but you’re missing something here. It is illegal for the US to come in and privatize all of the Iraqi resources- that’s their oil man. What if the US troops left, the US gave up all rights to the oil and UN Peacekeepers came in- Sadr himself said they would stop fighting if non-coalition troops replaced the US soliders. But the Iraqis will not accept this puppet gov’t- that is the problem.
in short- stop stealing the oil, no puppets and you wouldn’t need that many troops.
