> AFGHAN OPIUM:Iraq drug trade grows

13 October 2004, 12:38

Prior to reading this I was inclined to believe that removing the Taleban would fascilitate Saddam in the take-over of an illegal drug trade? And Bush would have been then the one responsible for opening the flood gates for heroin arriving upon U.S. shores, and funding the enemy?

Saddam could have realistically aquired the territory and the illegal drug trade? A little subderfuge, a viable premise like..."W.o.M.D.?" and now Jr. can call himself "a Caesar." Now he’s insured his place in history. The leader of the Great Christian Nation has defeated the Dark Lord of the Muslim World. One bonus I hadn’t considered was that it opened the borders of a bran new express route and a new market.
