> George Bush won the popular vote- and pigs are flying

I am Canadian. Though there is no perfect government, even here, I must point out to the person who claims Canada is so bad... that first of all, we do NOT have free health care. If you are unemployed and can prove your income is too low to pay even the tiered rate of coverage, you can apply for temporary free coverage. I agree that is a better system than most. I live in the 2nd wealthiest province and am earning barely over min. wage - and still have to pay a monthly amount for health care. If I don’t pay, I don’t get coverage. Simple as that. There is generally no wait to see a Dr. here. I can take my provincial health care coverage card to any walk in clinic if I can’t get into the hospital or family Dr. And I can get the same care there, at no extra charge.

And yes, we have a ’not so pretty’ unemployment rate. But nowhere near the rate of jobs lost due to Dubya’s first term in Ohio alone. I must pose the statement that if you think your elections cannot be rigged, you must inject some espresso directly into your brain and wake up. Check your public records. I have a research pass for the Library of Congress in DC and I have read the records on no less than 6 rigged elections in your history.

There are parts of the US that I love and I have some great friends and relatives there. We will never get anywhere blaming each other. It’s time to spread the word that people must at least try to regain control of the government ’THEY EMPLOY’.

I also add that the facts have been shown regarding the president’s original reason for the Iraq invasion.... FALSE.... A COMPLETE LIE.... No WMD anywhere. That’s ok, we’ll just change our reason and keep bombing civilians --- those same civilians that were supposed to be dancing in the streets and throwing rose petals at the feet of the Coalition of the willing. Oh yeah, I forgot that Iceland and Romania have such HUGE armies... ok, now I’m ranting. I’ll end here.
