People stood for up to 10 HOURS IN THE POURING RAIN to place these votes. They were still queuing when that Card guy announced the election for the Republicans. WHAT A THIRD-WORLD STYLE FRAUD/FIASCO. SOUTH AFRICA CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT! You MUST push for (I can’t, sadly, not being American) A FULL COUNT OF A-L-L THE VOTES; and secondly, AN INVESTIGATION OF ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES AND THE COMPANIES THAT PRODUCE THEM.
If, after a full count, which will only START - if it ever DOES start - in just over another week - Kerry IS proved to have won OHIO, by the narrowest of margins - all the people who didn’t vote for Bush must rise up and evict him from the White House! Even if it means camping outside like the WWI veterans did with Hoover - and got attacked by the army for their pains!
It’s simple! That’s what you all must do!
If, however, Kerry CAN’T be proved to have won by a narrow margin, as was originally predicted; well, you’ve got a harder struggle ahead of you. BUT IT ALL HINGES ON REFORMING THE US’ VOTING, VOTER REGISTRATION AND VOTE-COUNTING SYSTEM. Liz, UK.
