I agree with you Donna! Kerry’s concession speech didn’t feel right... As you said, this was not about loss, this was about theft! I’m also astonished by the media’s behavior. Indeed, instead of reporting the facts — the widespread voting irregularities that occurred during the election — and questioning the result, they came up with endless speculations and conjectures in order to justify Bush’s victory.
I must confess that I really don’t understand how Kerry and his team apparently never saw it coming... They must realize once and for all that not everybody play by the rules! If a recount or a closer analysis of the voting machines was required, they should have asked for it. Actually, this would have forced the media to investigate the voting irregularities carefully and put the administration on the defensive. At least, Bush wouldn’t be claiming he has a mandate.
Anyway, I hope there’s still time to revert the situation!
