A man with a Ph. D. in philosophy once told me, that he considerered Nietzsche to be the greatest of all Protestant philosophers; however, the work that LaVey (the actual spelling doesn’t include a space between the French "La" and "Vey" see the biographies Blanche Barton’s Secret Life of a Satanist and Burton Wolfe’s The Devil’s Avenger) produced at the end of the Twentieth Century is in quite a few respects a further elaboration upon Nietzsche, Crowley, Mark Twain and Ambrose Bierce’s themes. And, I also said "philosophers" and "theologians" in that sentence, and it can hardly be said that one that founds and codifies and gains a great deal of popular attention for founding a church even if it is is The Church of Satan doesn’t qualify on some level as a theologian. I didn’t know that the University I attended was an unofficial KKK University. Judging from the diverse background of the instructors teaching there and the number students from many different races and even natonalities that I met on campus — I even assisted a Saudi Arabian student with his commencement speach; he gave me a little money and a free pass to a local night club as payment, heh — I would postulate that you are wrong about that.
