> KERRY WON OHIO JUST COUNT THE BALLOTS AT THE BACK OF THE BUS

18 November 2004, 00:16

Caution: Revolution is a buzzword that might cause frenzied emotional responses when what we desperately need is reasoned, concerted and united effort to expose this systematic violation of the precepts of democracy, the absolute abuse of the US Constitution, and about every moral standard civilized people accept. Silence is complicity. Just ask the Germans who lived through the 1930’s in Nazi-controlled Germany. Wringing one’s hands helplessly accomplishes nothing either. Better far to find like-minded friends and countrymen, and together organize a moral, forthright, outraged majority to put an end to this. It is a mistake to automatically assume that because they voted for Bush, conservatives, veterans and evangelical Christians would resist the call for a systematic investigation of what really happened. It is equally a mistake to permit the Democratic National Committee, Kerry and others to avoid discussing this openly. If, as many of us believe, a majority really did vote Kerry, wouldn’t they all be natural allies in this effort to expose stinking, unAmerican fraud and deception.

We need to push the press to do an honest job of investigation, analysis and reporting. If they refuse to do their part, you must look for support elsewhere. MoveOn.org is waking up. So are BlackBoxVoting.org, VotersUnite.org, and ActForVictory.org. Visit their sites, get involved, give money when you can afford it. Tell family, friends, coworkers. Keep this subject alive on all the other blogs, like dKos.org. When there’s enough of an uproar, and if people sustain it, the press will have to respond, and our so-called "leaders" will scramble to get ahead of the wave of anger, and maybe even do what the people (this is supposed to be a democracy) demand be done. Take a page from the patriots of the American Revolution. It really helps to read their stuff.
