I have faith in the American People. The Declaration of Independence tells us we can throw rocks when the government fails to protect our basic rights. "We the People" will return. That day will come. This is not unlike our early struggle against Big Business in the late 1800’s or the backlash against powerful Unions in the Reagan years. We the People have often been taken to the extremes only to once again find balance. I am not a liberal but an American who recognizes full well how big money dominates this Country with the fraudulent leadership of Bush. This war is disgraceful sacrificing our young boys for Bushes pride. You can never force a people to desire liberty. They must earn it themselves. They will hate us to the bitter end. Our real battle is within our own country...in our own homes, in our school and on the streets. We need to return to the high morality of our founding fathers. We need to invest once again in our own children, our schools, our communities, our people. The greatest nation in the world....says that it promotes family values and then...millions cannot afford health care or education, jobs are without honor, corporations have no courage and far less credibility. The day Bush pushes public education to the wayside in favor of corporate education is the day this nation dies and the quest for liberty ends. The gap then widens between the haves and the have nots. Revolution will ultimately result as the rich tighten their grip on power while destroying the essential power of "We the People". We will return. We will throw rocks. That which is good and great and honorable will return. Pass it forward.
