You are wrong. There are lots of speculations going on around the globe right now. This article was one of them. By the way volcanoes were used as "weapons’ against the enemy even in the ancient world. People used to "stuff" the volacnoe with lots of stones before the eruption. One ancient city was destroyed in such a manner (don’t remember which one). So, tectonic weapon is not a modern creation (at least the idea is not new).
