The point is he didn’t distinguish himself in anyway. I cannot argue about how frigtening it was to live under Hitler. But this Pope did nothing brave, visionary. He didn’t take risks. He looked out for himself. There is nothing wrong with that. That is what I would do because I am not particularly brave. But he has been elected the Pope-aperson who is or should from their very beginning as a human being be extraordiary.
Look at Marla Ruzicka. She would have made a better Pope. But of course she could never be a pope becasue 1). She is dead 2} She is a woman.
The Catholic Church and Christianinty have a horrible history of promoting war, assassination, intrigue, financial scanda, murder, slavery of millions of people throughout the years. The organization is bad, malevolent it is the opposite of what is say it is. It s a force for bad not good. It seeks to subjugate human awareness for the purpose of it’s own promulgation.
