The point is he didn’t distinguish himself in anyway. I cannot argue about how frigtening it was to live under Hitler. But this Pope did nothing brave, visionary. He didn’t take risks. He looked out for himself. There is nothing wrong with that. That is what I would do because I am not particularly brave. But he has been elected the Pope-aperson who is or should from their very beginning as a human being be extraordiary. Look at Marla Ruzicka. She would have made a better Pope.
