Thank you for your rant - I agree with every word - and it’s nice to see that you can have a rant without bringing in ’the JEWS’. Zionism’s a problem, but when I see the world’s problems being blamed on ’the JEWS’ it drives me crazy - it’s like saying Catholics are to blame for Northern Ireland (or Protestants are to blame for NOrthern Ireland) - the religion is important as a cultural backdrop, no doubt about it - but the religion is not the primary reason for conflict - conflict on the scale of Israel/Palestine is the product of decades of prejudice, colonialism, indescriminate slaughter of Jews (among other hated minorities in Nazi-dominated Europe) and subsequent violence against and expulsion of Palestinians by Zionists. It’s fighting for territory, for water rights, fighting manipulated by the ’Great Powers’ to serve their interests. No doubt people will write in and say that Israel controls the US - if all the Saudi Arabian oil reserves suddenly disappeared and re-appeared in Nicaragua, Israel would be left to its own devices, and Nicaragua would be Dubya’s next stop for a breakfast prayer meeting.
