To use a very old term, the social contract between the governed and the governing has been broken. The American governenment no longer has the right to expect obedience from its citizens, because it no longer represents them. Men like Pablo Paredes and Kevin Benderman have my highest regard, because they are following their consciences and practicing civil disobedience, just as the founding fathers of the United States of America did. They, and others like them, are indeed the true heroes!
