According to the Pentagon, in 2002 coalition forces bombed Iraq on 78 separate days in an attempt to provoke a belligerant response from Saddam in order to use it as a pretext for an invasion with ground forces. Saddam did not take the bait. The Downing Street memo is a non-issue and Kerry’s bleatings about it now only goes to show what a cypher he truly is.
Someone mentioned it - he’s just puffing himself up to his constituents for his reelection bid in 06.
