I feel the same way you do and I am an American citizen. I can’t believe my country has gone so wrong. In our everyday busy lives we have no idea of what our government is up to. Taking time to do a little research and finding that our CIA has spent 60 years commiting crimes around the earth to keep wars going on so that the military industrial complex/oil companies in this country can make huge profits from the business of killing and the hunger of power and control of the world and its resources makes me feel sick.
What happened to the America I grew up thinking I was part of? What happened to the good and just country I was proud of? Now I find that most of my life my country has been an evil destructive force for killing for money. I find that my government is composed of multi- millionaires who have made their money by being immoral and corrupt.
I feel cheated and lied to, I feel that the beautiful picture of America that I grew up with was just a phony Hollywood production. I am ashamed that they fooled me and that I bought the lies. The truth of what my country is horrifies me and I feel betrayed.
