The fact that this is a voluntary army misses the point. When Americans join the service, they are trusting that their leaders will only send them into war when it is absolutely necessary, and with proper planning and equipment to ensure their safety. None of this happened with Iraq. It was a done deal sold on lies with no plan for success once the initial invasion was completed. According to your logic, once a person volunteers to be in the armed services in this country, we should all just shut up, even when our soldiers die because of lies and mismanagement.
